Martijn started with Impacter in 2017, one year after Impacter was founded. Some time after doing his HBO in Eindhoven in computer science, he attended a data science course. During that course he joined Impacter as an intern and he has been with us ever since. His main role is as a Data Scientist but he does a little bit of everything when needed, including system administration and front end development work. This variety of tasks is something that Martijn enjoys at Impacter.
One day per week, with the main goal being “having fun while learning something new”, Martijn works together with Jelle Zuidema at ILLC (Institute for Logic, Language and Computation) in University of Amsterdam. He focuses on building demos based on models that try to explain how language models work and why a transformer makes certain decisions.
In the near future, Martijn will bring his Data analysis knowledge into Global Campus and ScienceBase.
