Following the news of Shell4J, the security vulnerability in Apache Log4j (referenced as CVE-2021-44228), the Impacter team conducted an assessment of the components in the technology stack that could be affected over the weekend. Based on the guidance provided by the Netherlands Cyber Security Center (NCSC) published here, no components of the Impacter stack are affected by this vulnerability.
As a precautionary measure, pending security updates have been accelerated. The Impacter team will continue to monitor the updates and developments on the issue, and act where necessary.
