Bringing Large Language Models to Impacter

Use the creativity of AI in a confidential way!

Since Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT, Claude and Mistral took the world by storm, Impacter has been working on bringing the potential of these models to Impacter. We wanted to enable the creative capability of the models while also guaranteeing the privacy and confidentiality of your work.

So what are our safeguards?

To guarantee the confidentiality of your work, Impacter does the following:

  1. The Large Language Model runs on infrastructure that we control
  2. These servers are located in the EU on servers owned by a European company.
  3. We will never train large language models with Customer Data.
  4. We do not store your conversations, it is up to you to export them with your file.

What does this language model do?

Large Language Models are very helpful assistants for writing. They are creative (also with facts!) and can therefore serve as a valuable inspiration to help you in the writing process of your grant proposal. In our new interface, the annotations of Impacter also serve as the starting point for a prompt. In this way, you ask an LLM for suggestions that address the comment given by Impacter. Subsequently, you can use the chat conversation for further suggestion and enhancement.

We're very excited about this new set of features, and we think it will be of great value to researchers in writing the best proposal possible for their academic ambition. Give it a try, and let us know what you think!
